Michael Kean: My name is Mike Kean. I am 42 years old, married, and the father of two teenage girls. I was born and raised in the LA/Orange County area of Southern California and moved to Prescott in 2001. I played drums in a rock band in LA for 12 years prior to deciding to move to Prescott to focus more on the family and take advantage of some work opportunities. I am a member of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Backcountry Unit. The Backcountry Unit is a technical mountain rescue team that covers all of Yavapai County. I am also a member of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Helicopter Air Rescue Team. I am an EMT with Life Line Ambulance and I also work as a security guard at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. I love working in the EMS field. I am currently working towards my RN Degree at Yavapai College.
